| Abstract: | In the first part of this paper, failure analysis of core barrel is made, defects of material selection and heat treatment technology of core barrel are pointed out. Material selection of core barrel is discussed in the second part. It is noted that different material should be selected according to different stratum. Heat treatment technology of core barrel is studied in the third part and some methods for inproving the toughness of the barrel are put forward. |
