英汉替代衔接对比分析及其在英汉互译中的处理

基于韩礼德和哈桑的衔接理论,通过对收集到的英汉语中的文学语体、科技语体、口语语体的英语原文及其汉语译文共八篇语料进行分析统计,结果发现英语中的替代衔接手段出现频率低于其在汉语中的出现频率,这一点可以从汉语的名词性替代词＂的、者＂的起源找到解释,同时也说明了英汉两种语言的所谓＂形合＂和＂意合＂也是相对的。在此基础上笔者又探讨了替代在英汉互译过程中的处理。

CONTRASTIVE STUDY ON SUBSTITUTION IN ENGLISH AND CHINESE AND ITS TRANSFER IN TRANSLATION

The study makes an attempt to contrast substitution as a cohesive device in English and Chinese on the basis of Halliday Hasan＇s cohesion theory,in which the author takes the inductive way to make a statistics of the collected corpus,analyze the statistic result and give an explanation from the angle of culture and the origin of ＂de（的）＂ phrase and ＂zhe（者）＂ phrase in Chinese.At last,the author puts the study result into translation practice.
