| Abstract: | This paper first analyzes the drawbacks in the development and application of the traditional management information system (MIS). Then it illustrates the concept, the technology and the characteristics of the Intranet, explaining the architecture and the function of MIS based on this net. At last it discusses the technological problems that may arise in building the Intranet-based MIS. |
