Application and design of 70KHz DC/DC switching converter's primary transformer based on AP method

This paper describes detailedly the transformer＇s technical parameters, magnetic core selection, design method, calculational process and some pivotal questions of transformer＇s facture. The transformer is the primary transformer of the 1200W/70KHz Phase-shifted Full-bridge ZVZCS PWM DC/DC switching converter. At last, the voltage waveforms of experiment at transformer winding are presented. It shows that the design satisfys desire. At the same time, the transformer has small leakage, low disturbance, less waveform distortion and excellent electric performance.
