| Abstract: | The activities of GPT and GOT in some tissues of the Baiji (Lipoies Vexillifer)have been studied. Both of them are highest in the liver and lowest in the pancreas, The order of the activity of GPT in these tissues is as follows: liver>kidney>muscle>pancreas, while the order for GOT: liver>muscle>kidney>pencreas. Some properties of GPT and GOT in the liver, in cluding the effects of pH, temperature, enzyme concentration, substrate concentration, reaction time and SH-group inhibitors on enzyme activity are studied in Vitro. |
