Abstract:This paper considers a cold standby repairable system consisting of two supplemental equipments and a single repairman. In the system, the failure distributions and repair distributions of the two-supplemental equipments are assumed to be exponential distributions, but supplemental equipment A can't be repaired "as good as new" and supplemental equipment B can be repaired "as good as new". Under these assumptions, some reliability indices are derived by using the geometric process and the method of supplementary variable.
