摘    要:基于对象的视频压缩编码中,对图像中任意形状物体的形状信息能提供一种较为有效的编码方法一直是个至关重要的问题.以率失真理论为基础,提出了一种针对视频帧内的复杂形状图像,在一定失真度控制下的形状编码优化算法.其核心思想是:基于整幅灰度图像的边缘检测,对不同对象区域及整图的轮廓建立“图”的数据结构,分段轮廓形状逼近,从而为限定失真度下使形状编码的比特率最小提供了保证.

Abstract:In object based visual compression and coding, presenting fast and efficient methods for the encoding of the arbitrary shaped objects is becoming increasingly important in applications. We present an optimized algorithm for intra gray image in the minimum rate case. The core idea of this scheme is to base on the extraction of the original boundary, then to establish graph structures of the different object and overall image's boundary, and approximate each contour segment. The scheme ensures achieving the lowest bit rate for a given distortion.
