| Abstract: | A continuous velocity field is established different from B. Avitzur's. An analytical solution to the upper-bound deformation load of a groove wedge in cold rolling is given by means of integrating the variable upper limit and the variable parameters. The effects of external zone and friction on rolling process are discussed emphatically and quantitatively. |
