氧对铸铁材质的影响

铁水的纯净度是衡量铁水质量的重要指标之一,纯净度主要指铁水中的含氧量.由于在铁水中含有一定量的氧,必将对铸铁材质产生影响.作者应用固体电解质浓度差电池测定铁水中的溶氧量,并通过试验证实了在铸铁凝固过程中,氧对石墨形态、共晶团大小、共晶过冷度、综合机械性能以及不同壁厚的断面敏感性等方面均有明显的影响.试验所得结论明确了铁水质量与铸件内在质量的关系,这对提高铸件质量具有重要的现实意义.

EFFECT OF OXYGEN ON THE QUALITY OF CAST IRON

To evaluate the quality of cast iron,purity of cast iron is one of theimportant indexes.Purity is mainly shown by the oxygen content in the liquidmetal.The oxygen should produce an effect on the quality of cast iron.Theauthors apply the solid electrolyte concentrate cell to measure the oxygen dis-solved in the liquid metal.It is found that oxygen has an obvious effect onthe graphite pattern,eutectic cell size,eutectic subcooling,combined mecha-nical character and mass sensitivity for different section thicknesses.The rela-tionship between the quality of liquid metal and internal quality of castingsis cleared up by the conclusions.They are of primary importance to the impro-vement of the quality of castings.
