通过对近期有关科技期刊报导时滞的调查，分析了科技期刊报导时滞过长的现状、产生原因、危害，并结合自身的工作实践提出了改进编辑流程、建立快速审稿机制、建立科技期刊内部的稿件交流机制等改进措施，以便能有效地缩短科技期刊的报导时滞。

Scientific Journals Should Shorten the Time Lag of Publication

Based on his survey of the publication time lag of recent scientific joumals,the author analyzes the prolonged time lag, the possible causes and negative effects and proposes how to improve the editing process and how to establish an efficient censorship system and establish an internal paper exchange system between scientific journals, with roference to his own working practice, to shorten the time lag of publication effectively.
