| Abstract: | There are three respects of research works,Firstly,a theorem about getting thelocal optimum point in light of the curvilinear search method is proven,Secondly,anapproximate analytical method of the curvilinear search for constrained problems has beeninvestigated and a dual solving approach by using approximate variables separable programming isproposed whose numerical experiments show its competitive characteristics,Finally,abovementioned methods are applied to the optimum design of truss structures that obtain satisfactoryresults. |
