| Abstract: | Summary Auxotrophic mutants ofPenicillium spp. have been directly isolated after mutagenic treatment from agar plates containing Xanthene dyes. They grow as characteristic small colored colonies. Some strains were tested and they showed a differential response depending on the Xanthene dye used. |
