| Abstract: | This Article makes use of the Fredholm's integral eguation of a harmonic function and the conformal mapping to.solve strictly the vacuum electric field distribution of the infinity long charged straight wire inside a grounded conductive elliptic cylinder,and points out that the concept of mirror image charges is not tenable nor fulfilable from the conformal transformation function z=W+c~2/4W to eyelotomic field. |
