| Abstract: | The subject librarians of hospital library should provide high-level services for interrelated subjects according to the professional nature of the hospital and by using themselves＇ knowledge of library and information science and medical professional knowledge.This paper expounds the necessity and feasibility of providing personalized service for the patients by the subject librarians,points out that the subject librarians are the backbone force in providing personalized information service for the patients,and probes into the method for and significance of providing personalized information service for the patients. |
