| Abstract: | We discuss the sensitivity of the solution of the inconsistent matrix equation AXB=D when the elements of the right hand side matrix D of the equation are perturbed, and obtain a sharp upper bound in the worst case for the sensitivity of the best-approximate solution of the inconsistent matrix equation. |
