摘    要:IC技术发展及其制造工艺的进步大幅提升了处理器的性能,但同时也给多处理器系统电路设计引入了诸如信号完整性、功耗与散热、电磁兼容性(EMC)等问题。针对这一问题,提出了一种电、热、力多学科综合仿真方法;并通过雷达信号处理机的设计实例,详细描述了功耗、信号完整性、热、EMC等仿真环节,为多处理器的系统电路设计与仿真提供了重要参考。实践表明,通过电路设计不同阶段中多种EDA仿真工具的综合运用,该方法可显著改善系统电路性能并提高设计的成功率。
Abstract:
The performance of a processor has been improved greatly with the development of IC technology and manufacturing process, while it introduces many problems on signal integrity, power consumption and heat dissipation, electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), etc, to the circuit design of multiple-processor system. Aiming at these problems, a synthetic simulation method involving multiple disciplines which include electromagnetics, calorifics and mechanics was proposed. A design example of radar signal processing system was proposed, and the detailed simulating stages including power, signal integrity, thermal, and EMC was described. It provides an important reference to the circuit design and simulation of multiple-processor system. The design example shows that the proposed method can improve the performance of circuit and increase the success rate of design significantly by comprehensively applying various EDA simulation tools during the different stages of the design.
