数学美学初探

本文从几个方面比较研究数学与艺术的相似点。首先,阐述了美是数学科学的固有特点,并发现了数学美的特征,从而在数学美学与形式主义美学之间建立了某种联系。其次,对数学直觉的本质——数学美的意识作了分析,着重论述了直觉在数学创造中的作用。最后,从历史的角度,探讨了数学与艺术的一致性,并作出数学与艺术相似的内在根源的一个合理解释。

A Preliminary Study of Mathematical Aesthetic

This artical tries to compare some aspects of mathematics with art and explore the similarities between mathematics and art through these comparisons.It is discovered that beauty is one of the intrinsic characteristics of mathematics.In this artice,some of these characteristies are identified,and relations are found between mathematical aes- thetics and formalist aesthetics.This article also analyses the conscionsness of mathe- matical aesthetics,which is the essence of mathematical intuition.It also probes the role that intuition plays in mathematical creation.Finally,this article discusses the consis- tentness of mathematics and art from a historical point of view and proposes a rational explanation of the innate source of similarities between mathematics and art.
