Abstract:
Finite difference method (FDM) combined with MacCormack' s predictor-corrector scheme is used to solve the problem of hyperbolic heat conduction in a finite medium. One of its boundary surfaces is heated by a rectangular pulsed energy source while the other surface is tightly contacted with another medium where the continuous boundary condition is satisfied. Some non-Fourier heat conduction behaviors have been analyzed theoretically.``
