| Abstract: | Double negation is an important linguistic and rhetorical phenomenon both in English and Chinese.There are both similarities and differences between English and Chinese double negations.Based on the comparative analysis of Chinese and English double negation,English learners can make a deeper understanding of the target language,thus promoting language teaching and intercultural communication. |
