| Abstract: | The fixed pattern of "gathering X together" in Chinese language possesses the features of localizability,optimality,generality,autonomy and contrast in meaning.This pattern of language is a reflection of "containment schema" and "gathering schema" from the "image schema",which is frequently used in daily life and is related to the modernization of science and technology,the elevation in overall quality of people and things as well as their distinguished achievements. |
