摘    要:针对高空观测图像目标尺寸小、信噪比低以及背景和杂波干扰严重的问题,提出了一种基于背景和杂波抑制的星空图像增强方法。建立了星空背景图像增强算法模型,利用不同形状结构元素的形态学滤波方法对原始星空图像进行背景和杂波抑制,将多个支路形态学滤波的结果加权平均,采用双平台直方图均衡化方法进一步对观测目标进行图像增强。在此基础上对星空背景图像增强效果进行计算机仿真验证,并对增强后图像的信噪比和背景抑制因子进行计算。结果表明,采用该方法能够控制星空背景和杂波,改善图像的对比度,使目标细节更为丰富,便于后续目标检测与跟踪。

Abstract:To solve the problems such as small target size, low signal to noise ratio(SNR), serious interference of background and clutter, a star map enhancement method was presented based on background and clutter suppression. The model of star background image enhancement was established and multi-structure elements adopted in the morphology filter to suppress the star background and clutter. The plateaus histogram image equalization algorithm was also adopted in the weighed average of multiple morphology filters to improve the further image resolution. With this standing, the image enhancement effects were simulated, and SNR and background suppression factor of enhanced image calculated. The results show that the star background and clutter can be suppressed to a great extent, that the contrast ratio of image is improved remarkably,and that in the image the target is eabier to be tracked down and detected.
