知识经济时代图书馆地位及职能的思考

人类社会正在进入知识经济时代。知识经济是以知识为基础的经济，知识经济时代，知识的投资是关键，还要有知识传播扩散的机制和网络系统，其次是知识经济对人的知识素质的要求不断提高，要求个人的终身学习并要求学习型社会的创建，知识的生产、传播和转让在知识经济中起关键作用。在不同的历史阶段，图书馆有不同的地位和职能。

Reflections on the Position And Function of the Library in the Era of Knowledge Economy

The society is entering into a new age of knowledge-based economy in which the investment in knowledge is the key point in the age of knowledge economy.In addition,the mechanism and system for knowledge spreading are indispensable and the demand on human's knowledge is becoming higher with the development of knowledge economy,also it requires us a life-long education and to establish a learning society.As a result,the production,propagation and transformation of knowledge plays a critical role in knowledge economy.Library has different positions and functions in various stages of history,and based on the reflections of its historical position and function,the paper is expected to systematically analyze the position and function of library in the age of knowledge economy.
