| 摘 要： | 除反映美国黑人妇女反抗性别歧视、追求自我的女性主义主题外,赫斯顿的《他们眼望上苍》另一显著特征是其强烈的狂欢化色彩。书中的狂欢特征主要从狂欢化广场和狂欢仪式两个方面体现出来。狂欢化广场展现了黑人的爱、幽默和乐观。加冕脱冕的狂欢仪式中蕴含着交替更新的精神。作者以狂欢的形式表达了黑人民众对等级森严的官方世界的反抗和对自由、平等生活的向往和追求。

| Abstract: | Besides its womanist theme of Anti-sexism and Self-pursuit,Hruston’s Their Eyes Were Watching God is characterized by its carnivalesque elements,which can be seen from carnivalesque squares and carnivalesque rituals.Black people’s love,humor and optimism are shown in the carnivalesque squares.Carnivalesque rituals imply the spirit of alternating renewal.The author expressed black people’s resistance to the hierarchical world and their pursuit of freedom and equality. |
