摘    要:基于网络远程教育的虚拟实验技术,提出一种虚拟实验远程教育平台的实现方案,该方案综合运用VRML技术和ActiveX技术,并以光纤通信虚拟实验室为例,详细论述了其远程教育平台的构建。

Abstract:Based on the research of virtual experiment in remote education, the performance and the implementation of an virtual experiment platform for remote education are introduced by using VRML (Virtual Reality Modeling Language) and ActiveX technology. VRML is used to set up the virtual real environment that can be visited on the internet, and ActiveX is applied to do virtual experiments through the internet and realize the interaction between users and the virtual real environment. VRML and ActiveX are integrated effectively in this virtual experiment platform and shown their particular advantages. The design of virtual experiment lab for optical communication is described in detail in an example.
