| Abstract: | The features of time distribution of the drought and flood disasters in Sichuan are studied by using variable dimension fractal. The comparison of the time distribution features between the variable dimension fractal and classical statistical analysis is performed by using correlation analysis method. The results show that it was generally significant to study the time distribution feature of drought and flood disasters by using variable dimension fractal, and that there exists the essential relation between the two kinds of analysis method |
