| Abstract: | This paper obtain a necessary condition for the existence of Lee weight perfect codes over Zq , q∈Z,q≥4 and show that the Lee weight perfect codes do not exist over Z4. This paper also show that perfect codes do not exist over Z4k with respect to a new distance, which is related to Lee metric. |
