摘    要:脉冲耦合神经网络(PCNN)是最近几十年来研究的热点,尤其是其在图像处理的各个领域的应用。本文以实例说明了PCNN进行图像处理时用到的脉冲并行传播特性可以实现数学形态学的基本运算这一命题,在前人得出的结论的基础上进行实验验证和推广,并将其应用于图像边缘检测,进一步加强了PCNN与数学形态学的联系。

Abstract:The research on pulse-coupled neural network(PCNN) is a hot issue in recent decades,especially its application in every area of image processing.This article exemplifies that parallel pulse propagation used in the PCNN image processing can realize the basic operations of mathematical morphology,which is experimental validated and promoted on the basis of previous conclusions,and it is applied to edge detection,which further strengthens the link of PCNN and mathematical morphology.
