| Abstract: | The effect of sucrose and light on betacyanin acculation in suspension cultures of Bota vulgaris were investigated.Sucrose concentration,light intensity and light guality affected the accumulation of beLacyanin.Maximal betacyanin accumulation Was observed at 3% Sucrose concentration.Betacyanin synthe sis Was stimulated by light.Bafacyanin content enhanced with increasing light intesity.There were no significant differences under different colour Light.Betaoyanin content Was highest under blue light. |
