塞拉利昂粘土的物理性质与无釉地砖耐压强度之间的线性回归分析

摘    要:论述了从塞拉利昂不同地区采集的6个粘土试样的一些物理性能,这些物理性能与无釉烧结地砖的耐压强度有一定的关系。由相关系数可知,烧结温度是控制地砖强度的主要因素,虽然粘土的粒度分布与地砖强度之间无明显关系,但过多添加砂子会降低砖的强度,而适当的粘土和淤泥则提高砖的强度。高塑性有降低砖强度的作用,体积密度和气孔率对强度有相反的影响,前者能提高强度,而后者则会降低砖的强度。

Abstract:This work represents results of some physical properties of six clay samples collected from different regions in Sierra Leone. These physical properties were correlated with the crushing strength of unglazed-fired tiles. Firing temperature is the major factor controlling the strength of the fired clay tiles as shown by their correlation coefficient. Although there is no significant relationship between particle size distribution of the clays and strength of the fired tiles, excess addition of sand fraction lowers the strength while clay and silt fractions in considerable amount improve strength. High plasticity has been found to have a reducing effect on strength.
