| Abstract: | Zhangzhou,an important city along the East and South Sea, has been well- known for her transportation convenience. Wang Jinghong, an official born in Zhangzhou, contributed greatly to the great event that Zheng He went to the western world. So did several generals and soldiers from Zhangzhou and Zhenghai Guard Posts. Zhang Xie and Wu Pu, natives in Zhangzhou in Ming Dynasty, mentioned the great event in their respective masterpieces- Research of the East and the West and Seeing You Off. |
