| 摘 要： | 语音隐喻自提出以来并没有受到学术界的广泛关注。究其原因很可能是其提出者将语音隐喻的概念理解得过于狭隘,从而限制了其研究和应用的范围。尝试利用语音隐喻来解释英语习语中丰富的语音修辞手法这一现象,以此为习语语音特征的研究找到认知和心理方面的依据,并扩大语音隐喻的研究范围。

| Abstract: | ＂Phonetic Metaphor＂ has not been taken into wide research since its initiation.The possible reason is that its initiator gives phonetic metaphor a too narrow definition,which in turn restricts its application in research field.This paper tries to interpret the phonetic rhetorical devices in English idioms through phonetic metaphor in order to find the cognitive and psychological basis for the idioms with special phonetic features and expand the research scope for phonetic metaphor. |
