摘    要:针对低密度奇偶校验(low-density parity-check,LDPC)码在高信噪比区域可能存在错误平层的缺点,利用渐进边增长(progressive edge growth,PEG)算法的思想,基于围长约束和额外信息度(extrinsic message degree,EMD)提出了一种围长为8的LDPC码构造方法,该方法所构造的PEG-GA-EMD(PGAE)-LDPC码不存在四环和六环且具有优越的纠错性能.仿真结果表明,该方法所构造的码率分别为0.5和0.67的PEG-GA-EMD(PGAE)-LDPC(3024,1512)码和PGAE-LDPC(1200,800)码能有效改善高信噪比区域的纠错性能,且未出现明显的错误平层.

Abstract:In order to solve the shortcomings that there may be an error floor of low-density parity-check (LDPC) codes in the higher signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) region, a new construction method of LDPC codes with girth-8 is proposed with the idea of the progressive edge growth (PEG) algorithm based on the girth constraints and extrinsic message degree (EMD). There is no girth-4 and girth-6 in the PEG-GA-EMD(PGAE)-LDPC codes with excellent error correction performance constructed by the proposed construction method. The simulation results show that the PGAE-LDPC(3 024, 1 512) code with code-rate of 0.5 and the PGAE-LDPC(1 200,800) code with code-rate of 0.67 constructed by the construction method can effectively improve the error correction performance of the higher SNR region without the obvious error floor.
