| 摘 要： | IPv4在Internet的高速发展中出现了许多急待解决的问题,如地址不足,路由表膨胀,安全性不高及移动性不够灵活等。新一代IPv6协议则提供了一些新的机制来解决这些问题。本文主要讨论了IPv6的特性以及IPv4向IPv6过渡的方法。

| Abstract: | Many difficult problems have appeared in IPv4 during the rapid development of Internet. These problems include the shortage of IP addresses, the explosion of routing tables, lower safety and inflexible mobility. So a new generation Internet protocol named IPv6 has provided some new mechanism to solve these problems. This paper mainly discusses the characteristics of IPv6 and the methods for transition from IPv4 to IPv6. |
