| 摘 要： | 亚洲金融危机使苏哈托政府垮台,哈比比在军方领导人的支持下继任总统。一些国家和非政府组织抓住机会在东帝汶问题上对印尼施压;东帝汶人民也加紧反抗,并适时改变斗争策略。为了赢得国际援助,并增加自身政治资本,哈比比不得不改变对东帝汶的政策,最终促成东帝汶的独立。

| Abstract: | Asian Financial Crisis led to the fall of Suharto administration.Habibie took office by the help of the leaders of army.Some states and NGOS caught the opportunity to exert pressure upon Indonesia on the East Timor issue.The East Timorese also step up resisting and changed the resisting strategy.In order to win the international support and increase the political benefits,Habibie had to change the policy to East Timor and then East Timor gained independence. |
