ON THE PALAEOCLIMATE MODEL IN MESOZOIC AND THE CAUSES OF POLAR FORESTS

Owing to the special alihnment of light, heat and water, the area of high latitude, covered with for ice now, was the mostflourishing preriod for organisms in Mesozoic. The warm climate in geological history belonged to three model intensetype, moderate type and alternate type. According to the analyses of strata, ancient organisms and oxygen isotope, theMesozoic climate must be considered to be the warm climate of alternate type. So it can be concluded that the formation ofMesozoic forests in high latituces area was owing to the factors, which can cause shorter polar nihgt, high temperature andreduction of climate contrast.
