| Abstract: | Reading English news not only is beneficial to the improvement of readers' ability to apply English,but also helps follow the tendency of the development of English for its learners. This paper summarizes the characteristics of diction, syntax and discourse of English news by analyzing some practical examples on the web,tries to reveal the general principles of its use of language. |
