| Abstract: | The concept of minimum limit push lead (MLPL) in the design of varying pitch screw is introduced and a comprehensive theoretical analysis is carried out.Based on this concept and by use of the chart as a tool,a visual,convenient and practical design method is put forward in this paper. |
