On Culture Teaching in College English Teaching

In traditional college English teaching,the teachers focused on the linguistic forms while largely neglected cultural knowledge which is to a great extent essential to English teaching.The article aims at emphasizing the importance and the targets of English culture teaching as well as the approaches to the implementation of introducing western culture into English teaching.
