| 摘 要： | GPRS（General Packet Radio Service）和WLAN（Wireless Local Area Network）都是基于分组交换的技术，它们空中接口上的信道特征截然不同．在对传输层协议SCTP（Stream Control Transmission Protocol）进行研究的基础上，利用NS．2网络仿真器对使用了SCTP的GPRS／WLAN异构网络中的切换进行了研究．仿真结果显示异构网络中的垂直切换始终存在着传榆中断的问题，但是从GPRS到WLAN的SCTP切换比从WLAN到GPRS的SCTP切换数据传输更流畅．

| Abstract: | GPRS and WLAN are both base on packet switching technology,the characteristics over their air interacts are completely different.Based on investigating on SCTP,vertical handoff based on SCTP in GPRS/WLAN environment is studied with NS-2.The simulation result shows interruption problem is unavoidable in vertical handoff. However,SCTP performance switched from GPRS to WLAN is better than from WLAN to GPRS. |
