| Abstract: | The growth toxicity of Eu is studied experimentally by using the seedling of Vicia faba. The results show that Eu inhibits the growth and respiration of Vicia faba,decreases the dry weight and increases the peroxidase activity of Victa faba. With the increasing of Eu concentration the activity of pcroxidase cnhances. There is a negative linear correlation between the respiration and the logarithm of treatment time and a positive linear correlation between peroxidase activity and the logarithm 0f treatment time. |
