THE NEW ACHIEVEMENTS AND A BIG TREND OF SEED PHYSIOLOGY RESEARCH

This paper generalizes the new research acthievements of seed physiology: for exasmple, general pattern and effectivefactor of seed development, the seed coat structure and the physiological cause to seed dormancy, as weel as therespiratory metabollism and the vigor accretion of seed germination. The theory, therefore provides scientific basis forcollective good seeds, safe storage and culture healthy seedling. We hope the applied theory and the technology ofopperation will be put into practice to increase the yield pet unit area and to speed up the modernization of agriculture andforestry of our countray.
