| Abstract: | This paper gives a data compression technique by which the size of a file may be reduced through subsituting codes for its field values.The codes are the corresponding locations of the values in a Hash table.The implcmentation tcchnique as a compression tooil in the date base managementsystem for the data store and the algorithms of coding/decoding are discussed. |
