多步方法稳定程度的计算

摘    要:该文研制了计算一般多步方法稳定程度的通用软件,并将该软件成功地用于评估向后微发公式及其改型的数值稳定性。由于一般多步方法是个十分浩瀚的方法类,该软件提供了研究多步方法的稳定域和稳定程度的有力工具。

Abstract:Making researches into the measure of stability of general multistep methods isas important as making researches into the shape and size of the stability regions. But so faralmost nobody has studied practical computation on the measure of stability. So, in this paper,a universal software of computing the measure of stability of general multistep method isdeveloped,and it is successfully used to appraise the stability properties of backward differential formula and its serveral modified forms. Because general multistep methods are a verywide class of methods, this software provides a powerful tool to study the stability and themeasure of stability of multistep methods.
