IP网拥塞控制RED算法研究

摘    要:随着IP网规模的扩大,Internet用户和应用在快速增长,网络拥塞已经成为一个十分重要的问题.为了减轻当前IP网的阻塞现象,主干网路由器必须采取有效地策略来避免和控制网络拥塞,从而保证整个网络的稳定性.讨论分析了拥塞避免/控制RED算法及各种改进技术,比较了它们的优缺点,提出了将队列的平均占有率作为决定拥塞避免机制是否应该被触发的随机函数的参数设置问题.最后通过仿真实验给出了即时队列与平均队列跟踪图.

Abstract:With the evolvement of the IP network, the number of users and applications using Internet increases very quickly. Congestion has become an important issue. To alleviate the congestion of current Internet, an effective congestion avoid/control strategy must be adopted in backbone routes, to keep the stability of the whole network. In this paper, congestion avoid/control RED algorithms are analyzed and its advantages and defects are compared. Finally, the experimental simulation results using the ns 2.1b8a network simulator are shown and the performance evaluation is presented by comparing the mechanism with relative schemes. The RED current queue size and average queue size trace graph is proved to be feasible and fair.
