中美贸易失衡原因探析

美国国内再次掀起的要求人民币升值的浪潮,指责中国政府通过操纵人民币汇率获得不公平竞争优势,加剧了中美贸易失衡,损害了美国经济。这只是美国追求自身利益的单方面的看法。其实,人民币升值无助于改善美国的国际收支,也无助于降低美国的失业率。中美贸易失衡的根本原因是全球产业转移和中美两国储蓄率的差异。人民币汇率并不是中美贸易失衡的根本原因,也不是医治美国经济的灵丹妙药。
