| Abstract: | A variability of 32 Quasars of Medium Bright Quasar Sample (MBQS) which is complete to nominal limiting magnitudes B =17.6 is studied. Q >3.0 is taken as criterion of variability. About the one third of MBQS have been detected to have variability;the averaged amplitude of variability is 0.47 magnitude;the timescale of variability is usually years and sometimes very short,days;the percentage of variable quasars is not related with redshift or luminosity of quasar;but amplitude of variability seems to be anticorrelated with both redshift and luminosity of quasar. |
