《科学》与其主办者中国科学社

目的对《科学》杂志的发展史进行回顾,研究其办刊的过程、编辑出版情况及其对中国社会、科技等方面发展的贡献,以及与其主办者中国科学社的关系。方法采用文献分析法和考证法。结果《科学》杂志的编辑出版受到了国内外学术泰斗、名人政要的关注,虽然经历了一个复杂曲折的过程,但在其主办者中国科学社的努力下,一直持续到1959年。《科学》的办刊理念、管理机制、编辑出版的方式等都有自己的特色。结论《科学》杂志的编辑出版,在中国出版史上有着重要的历史地位。它不仅传播科学知识,影响了国人的科学观念,还开创了最具现代意义的中国科学期刊模式;它还通过其示范作用,把西方科技社团的办会方式和与之依存的科学期刊办刊方式介绍给中国学会工作者和科学期刊工作者,并且将科学期刊的社会功能提到了一个新的高度。
