| 摘 要： | 在分析新闻英语特点的基础上，探讨了新闻英语在大学生的素质培养、语音听说、词汇语法、阅读理解以及文化修养等方面的重要作用。由此，在大学英语专业教学中，教师应根据教学内容和班级学生情况，适当地引入新闻英语，以期培养学生听英语广播看英语报刊的良好习惯，并提高学生的英语水平和人文素质。
