| Abstract: | Starting with the iterated function system (IFS), the stochastic method for generating IFS attractors is described. Based on this algorithm, equi segmented fractal data compression is proposed, and the programming steps are given. The applications of the algorithm to the engineering measurement and the processing of monitoring signals are studied. Satisfactory performance of the algorithm is verified. |
