朱熹心说再辨析

摘    要:心是体用之全。从中和旧说到中和新说的转变,是从性体心用说转到心之体用说。体既是心之虚灵之体,亦是性之实,体(非实体论之实体),是虚实合一、心性合一;用是情与知觉作用。不能离体而言用,离性而言知觉。反过来说,性不离知觉,知者从具体事物与活动中体现性,觉者自我觉悟,从整体上实现性的自觉。心与性与知觉可以通说,亦可以分说。通说者心即性即理,浑沦一物;分说者性情有别,性与知觉有别,性是理而知觉是气之精爽。但知觉之展开,有其独立性,易受形气物欲之陷,故要变化气质,进行修养。从现实层面说,人需要正视自己,自我改造,这一点对现代人很有启发。

Abstract:Xin (heart-mind) is the integration of ti-yong (substance-function). The transformation from Zhonghe jiushuo to Zhonghe xinshuo is one of Xingti xinyong shuo to Ti-yong zi xinshuo. Ti is both the spiritual substance of xin and the body of xing (nature; not the same as that in Substantialism).
